I was introduced to United In Sisterhood at a time when I really needed to make connections with others. The pandemic was at its highest and I felt alone, confused, and afraid. UIS is a great place to connect and create bonds with other female veterans and I am grateful to be a part of this group. I have met some genuinely fantastic sister veterans, who I consider my friends. I have to mention the Fairy Dust Sprinkle (FDS), it is so moving and touching to send and receive a care package that is sent with love and thoughtfulness for my sisters from each other. Also, through UIS, I have been introduced to other organizations such as Doterra and WoVen which have been life-changing for me. I really could go on and on because there are so many great things about UIS, the connections, the support, the help with veteran-related issues and so much more. Thank you Detrel for having the insight to create an amazing group for women veterans.
